Desktop arc generator is used for DC photovoltaic arc fault circuit protection of solar photovoltaic power generation system and arc detection of photovoltaic inverters. As stated in Article 690 of the National Electrical Code NFPA 70, this protection is designed to mitigate the impact and risk of arc faults. If the arc persists, it may catch fire in some cases, and this is to mitigate the impact of arc faults. The equipment includes photovoltaic arc fault circuit interrupters (AFCI), arc fault detectors (AFD), interrupt devices (ID), converters, which are mainly used for series fault arcs and parallel fault arcs.

Applicable to inverter research and development, certification testing, AFCI chip company model training, and quality sampling.
